Our Last Night Home (for Awhile)

O. K., it's almost 11:00 p.m. and we're exhausted. Ready to hit the hay for last evening in our home for awhile. Victoria, Barret and I are sitting in the study room right now musing about how surreal this all feels (Victoria's actually talking to Annie on the phone, and Austin & Meagan are sawing logs, as are Poppy and Willow). Barret just said, "I can't believe Xiao Qian's going to be my sister." This is really happening, after all these months of planning. It all started to feel this way when we picked Austin & Meagan up at the airport last night, and it's been hitting home ever since.

We're excited, we're packed, and we're ready for one of the longest days of our lives, and for a miraculously beautiful shift in our family and in the Kingdom.

This will be a short entry. I'm/we're going to bed. We love you, and will try to write as soon as we can. Thank you, again, for all of your support, love, encouragement and prayers.

Warmly in Christ,

Poppy ran over to Meghan after school today, who greeted her with a big smile.
